    I PERSONALLY usually judge places by looks, at first when I saw Arelia James Island I thought it would be amazing to have extra amenities like valet trash, a true gated community and other things. I was a little hesitant to spend an extra $200-300 more a month to be in a better area of town. I almost didn't move originally due to the lack of help from the management but finally moved back in January of this year (2021) Seems at first things were ok. Maintenance requests were done promptly, we had a community chat board and just seemed to be cozy.. In April/May I found out that ZRS management took over the management of the complex. I WAS SO THRILLED. Well during the first couple nights I found some unauthorized people parking in the handicapped spot so I called the After Hours Number to only find NO RESPONDS, NO VOICE-MAIL etc. I tried the main phone number got the same. WENT ONLINE to the website and it kept saying it didn't know who I was, and it wouldn't help me.... I did tell the management about this a couple days after this incident but they (the apartment complex) didn't apologize or anything. A COUPLE other times during the following weeks I called to have the same fustration... I sent several emails to the office and main corporateoffice to only get No resolutionfor my ongoing issues . AT THE END OF MAY I thought my garage was broken into and tried to get assistance at 230am by phone and email- didn't work. I finally voiced my opinion by submitting a work order saying what I thought. Seems that worked. PAM WHO IS THE ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER came over. She advised me every time I complain she hears about it and I needed to chill. I combined that I had to get a garage due to having some medical issues which requires me to park in handicap parking but 90% of the time it was being used by people who shouldn't be parking there. I recently emailed Pam asking about changing the door locks and she said she would email me back but never did. I got annoyed and put in yet a ticket. The ticket now seems to be moved to not compete status. I asked the apt complex to put in my own lock that your able to use a code for due to medical conditions... Oh well. Overall I've heard so many excuses for them not doing things, from hearing oh the property Manger didn't do what they claimed they did because of being busy doing things... THE LIGHT INFRONT OF MY BUILDING IS BURNED OUT, NOTHING GETS DONE, AND SEEMS ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED DOESNT GET RESOLVED.. PEOPLE HAVE VOICED OPINIONS ON VARIOUS APARTMENT REVIEWS AND SEEMS MORE PEOPLE ARE MOVING OUT OF THIS COMMUNITY THAN ANYWHERE ELSE. THIS APARTMENT Management just cares about the $$$, not about residents or maintaining the property. Seems if you have an after hours emergency your S.O.L

    I've been beyond annoyed. First off a new apartment complex took over several months ago and now we continue to have issues. The handicapped parking areas have been parked by vehicles who DO NOT HAVE A HANDICAP MARKINGS ON THERE VEHICLES. I have repeatedly called the complex and reported this to only find out they have done nothing. I REQUESTED a garage because of this issue but now being charged for one. My garage was vandalized today. Someone unlocked my garage and stole two things including my dog cage I put in there and also a cart I needed so I can bring things into my apartment. This complex is totally not worth the price or headache. My neighbors are also rude (least one side).

    Both Bree and Angelique are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I’ve been here for 2 years and no matter my situation they are always willing to help. I love the apartment and I’ve never had any issues with crime etc. they are always readily available to answer questions. Maintenance is efficient and also both men are very kind as well. -Analise
