Prime Alterations

I took a suit I have owned for several years in to have it evaluated for alterations. Some friends said it might be time to throw it out or donate it, but Prime Alterations was able to make the needed alterations and breathe new life into my three-piece suit. I will use them again in the future.

Let me start by saying that I do have some alteration experience. My issue is time, as this is a very busy month for me. My daughters and I are all in a wedding also. The alteration requirements were minor. My 2 children needed their dresses taken in (only an inch for one of them - a little more for the baby). However, my dress needed to be expanded a little ( the Covid 15 lbs.). Anyway, they were rude, as if they did not want our business. Then they gave me a price quote that was actually 3 times the cost of the dresses brand new. I humbly explained that to them, and asked if there was any type of discount. They unprofessionally laughed and said "no". This was maybe 1 and 1/2 hours of work at the most...definitely not $250 worth. So, I said that I couldn't pay that, and they said "Ok...bye." and let me walk right out.These are uncaring and unfriendly people. Please avoid them. I would give 1/2 a star, if I could.
