If I can set my review to -100 stars I would. I am a former employee of this so-called "company". I worked with this company for 5 months and I have no idea how they stay above water. If you ever find yourself, unfortunately, having an interview for the position of security guard, you'll find yourself at the "Mall of Americas" in Miami.  Instead of having an actual office to conduct business and interviews, they have a tiny kiosk in the middle of a run-down mall in Miami. The amount you get paid is solely based on how much you got paid at your last job. If you say you got paid $18 they'll haggle with you and end up giving you what you ask for because they are always having people quit, but trust me it is not worth your time. If you like working with horrible management that doesn't answer the phone or text messages when you need something. Or if you like to put in for time off, for them to just give you the run-around and then end up rejecting your time off request at the last second, then you will have the best time at this job. The management does not know how to run a company. Nelson Perez and Mark Vinton are the ones that make things horrible for both clients of the company and employees of the company. Nelson Perez will promise you things like giving you more hours, fixing your schedule, granting your time off request, and anything that really benefits you, to just end up ignoring you whenever you text him about a situation you need to be fixed. Nelson has lied and still lies to clients of the company and employees. Mark Vinton is the other horrible supervisor in this shamble of a company. Mark is disliked by many people from many different properties of contracts that the company holds. Even employees dislike him. He is a former corrections officer that still thinks that he works in a prison, bossing people around and making things more difficult than they should be at properties. Mark at one point told me that he was going to deliver my first paycheck because the company failed to tell me that my first paycheck was going to be a physical check. Mark picked up my check from the office (the kiosk in the middle of the mall) and stated that he would drop it off at the property where I was working that day. I finished my shift and there was no sign of Mark anywhere, I called him more than 5 times and even waited for him for an hour after my shift and he never showed up. I went on to text him how unfair it was that he did such a thing and the next day he responded to me by saying "I was doing you a favor, sir". This is the kind of management that this company has at the helm. Not only this, but they also have a dispatch that never knows how things work with scheduling and continuously changing people's schedules without notifying the people ahead of time. One moment you will be working and the next you'll lose your shift or one day you'll be off and the next you'll be receiving a call from dispatch asking you where you are and why aren't at work. This company states on its website that they offer benefits after 90 days of working, but of course with this kind of horrible company that is too much to ask. You only get benefits after 1 whole year of working with the company and the benefits are only 1 week of PTO and health insurance. By the way, the PTO replenishes after every year, so if you plan on taking more than 1 week off in 1 year you won't be getting paid for it. There are so many other options for employers out there, yeah most security companies are the same and treat their workers badly, but this one has to be the worst one out there. This company does not care how long you've worked there, they will throw you under the bus and will not even give you any sort of incentive for working hard, but they will whine when you don't show up to the shifts. But it baffles me how they continue asking themselves why they are losing so many contracts, all they need to do is look in the mirror and they will have a simple answer to their question. And to put a cherry on top, this company has a  "uniform rental fee" which means that you will be deducted $.25 EACH hour you work for the company. Even if you were to buy your own pants and get the same shirt, you would still have to pay that fee because you have their patches and badge on. If you work 40 hours a week, you are looking at around $20 being taken from you on top of taxes that are taken out because the company is stingy and will try to give you less money so they can have the biggest profit from you working. Please do yourself a favor and skip this company when applying for a job.
