DO NOT come here if you are a hard stick. I had surgery and due to a complication had to come back. The 3rd day after my surgery I had to go 8 hours without medications because the "IV Team" is innoficient and took that long to show up to a place an IV. Now back in the hospital and had an IV blow this morning it has now been just shy of 12 hours waiting on the "IV Team" if I wanted to lay around without any medication treatment I would have been better off staying at home. Get your business straight. This is un acceptable from any medical institution let alone a supposedly top notch hospital. And both times when I asked I was told that this was normal business for the IV team.

Came here with contractions at 35 weeks and didnt even have to wait to be taken in. They monitored me and my baby, checked everything out, got us hydrated and gave me medication. And we were out of the ER within an hour or so Id say. Everyone was kind and listened to my concerns. It was a very good experience and I will be back here to have my baby in the next 5 weeks for sure.

Winnie Palmer is much better. I wish I would of went to Winnie again for my 2nd, the care is good here at Advant but the food is terrible , inedible. The TV was broken, the volume broken, they forgot to bring me Tylenol for my pain, they forgot to bring me the paperwork to donate my placenta so I guess they just threw it away? They dont have wipes for the baby here, they give you gauze.. which doesnt clean that new baby poop well. They dont bring you ice pads. You cannot call for food to be delivered to your room, that doesnt exists here, you just get the daily special brought in and it taste so bad you can NOT eat it. Please go to Winnie Palmer, you are treated way better and everything is just better.

Terrible! Last Tuesday we took my mother, who is sick with cancer, to the ER with severe pain, vomiting and severe reflux. She had a CAT scan and the ER doctor sent her home with morphine because he found no obstruction. In fact he did a chest x-ray which was odd and then I saw the doctor write that she was having difficulty breathing, which no one said she had. There a cancer patient received extra radiation that she didn't need. In fact, I remember a nurse asking me if she had asthma. That night I was able to talk to her oncologist who read the CT report and told me he was admitting her to the hospital because she had an obstruction, he wondered why they had let her go. Thursday she had x-rays with contrast which apparently didn't help anything because no decision was made. More radiation. Then on Friday she was taken to the gastroenterologist's area for an endoscopy but then the doctor decided not to do it, why, we don't even understand why! But now it's scheduled for Monday, they were going to repeat the CT today but the nurse couldn't find the order! It looks like the doctor forgot to order it. Now it's supposed to be tomorrow, it's a mess here! Not to mention the most important thing is that she has to resolve this blockage before continuing cancer treatment! I ordered nutrition for her, now she has high blood sugar but unless she goes above 150 they are not going to do anything. They are flooding her with morphine and keeping us waiting here, but in the meantime she has a tube from her nose to her stomach. She is suffering so much. as if it wasn't enough with the cancer she is now also suffering from the tube for days up her nose and I understand it is necessary but I was told it was for a short time not indefinite days! This is crazy and so sad! What a mother's day my poor mother is going to have this year! Thank you AdventhHealth
