This is the short version of the fiasco they put me through:
I applied for a 10 year, 100,000.00 life insurance policy with them about a year ago. First they sign me up for a 20 year policy with a locked in rate of 134.00 a month. So, I go through the whole process again to get it changed to 10 year. Finally I get it changed and the premium was 77.00 a month. Suddenly my premium jumps to 144.00 a month (10.00 more than I was paying for the 20 year policy). No explanation whatsoever has been given to me. I've since gotten insurance with Legal&General (great company) at half the costs. I used to think state farm was a reputable company. Not now!
