Upon calling Ralph Carpenter roofing, the owner Ralph himself came out to give a estimate. He explained everything very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns above and beyond. I knew exactly what to expect. I was put in the schedule in a very timely manner. William and his crew showed up and they were very professional, it took a out 2 and half days for my entire roof to be replaced. They left the job site each day very clean and neat after themselves. The pricing was affordable and I feel I now have a quality roof that will last many years. After Ralph Carpenter did my roof I have had 2 neighbors pleased with his work and have hired him to do there roofs as well. I needed a new roof on my home so I got a few estimates. Ralph Carpenter Roofing was a good value for the price. I heard of them from friends and I had seen their work. I didn’t hear horror stories about them like I’d heard about some of the other roofing companies. I’m so glad I chose them. They were professional, courteous, and on time. My yard was cleaned up and no hidden surprises in the work or the price. My roof looks beautiful and there was no mess-really an exceptional experience. The best part was when the inspector came for the final inspection and told me I had the best roofer around and that’s who he planned to use when doing his own home after doing inspections on all the roofing companies.
Since this roof was done I have been running my own company flipping houses in Palm Bay and Melbourne. Regardless of the job (a small repair or a total re-roof) they are the only company I call. Many flippers have the reputation of just doing the minimum to make the house sellable, and going with the cheapest company.. I don’t do this.. I go over and above what’s needed and want quality to show through in every home I sell. Ralph and his crews do just that so I can always trust their recommendations and estimates. They may not be the cheapest, but they are also not the most expensive. I can always rely on them to do a quality job and I feel good about passing his paperwork on to the new owner so they know exactly what they have and the life expectancy of their roof. Here's how my experience went. Showed up on time made great impression quote was great. They were backed for months. I accepted. Showed up on time. Started the re-roof. That's when it all went downhill. I was told they would replace all the wood that had been damaged. Well of course I had a hole in my roof years prior. I made a "typical repair on it, of course they left it and didn't replace that wood. Drip edge was "ok" not as quality as the one I had before. More seams in the new one. Had in issue called Ralph, his excuse was no one told the worker. I mean its common sense I shouldn't had to call, I couldn't believe it. They did "fix" that issue after I called. When they did the re-roof. They removed the flashing from roof to the screened porch. Ans just left the drip edge. You guessed it it leaks in between the screen porch and wood. I will not use this company again. Service: Roof installation
