Superior Spiral Stairs

I would like to share our amazing experience from design to completion. We met with David in January 2022 to discuss our desire to replace an outdated railing. We prepared the staircase for Superior Spiral Stairs to measure and they promptly did so on February 9th. Within on week we received the shop drawings for our review and signature. The drawings were professional, addressed every detail and were easy to understand. In one month on March 18th 2022 our railings were delivered and installed. The installers were clean, thorough and very careful with our new treads, fabulous job. I highly recommend Superior Spiral Stairs, we are so happy with our new railings.

If your application calls for outdoor powder coating, find a better company. The photos below are after only one year. We were assured the finish would be durable and last for years. In fact, we would never have brought our metal sculpture to them to refinish if they didn't do outdoor powder coating. When the piece was delivered, Jesse said it should be out in the sun so you could see the color. Well, a year has passed and there is rust all over it, at every weld. The owner, David, answered our email by saying the finish was for indoors only! So, a lousy job, lousy customer service, and lying. Do the math, personally I'd avoid them. It was a very expensive and frustrating experience.

I wouldn't use this company for anything. We got a good feeling in late 2019 when we brought a large outdoor sculpture in to be repaired and powder coated. Oh they were so excited,"its so beautiful, would you sell it" etc etc. We asked if it could be done by March for a wedding, "no problem." And Jesse assured us the finish was durable and would hold up outside for years. Well, 2020 happened, and the wedding was postponed anyway, and sometime in late 2020 or early 2021 we finally got it back. When Jesse delivered it, he even commented that he didn't like where we put it because it wasn't out in the sun, and you couldn't see the color. We put it under a covered patio. Now it is a year later and the piece is covered with rust. What did David reply to my husband's email? "The finish is meant to be indoors"!!!! We figured a company that makes outdoor roof decks would know a thing or two about outdoor powder coating, but if my experience and the other reviewer's is anything to go by, I'd avoid this company. Needless to say, it's not cheap and we were happy to pay for a job well done. Unfortunately this wasn't one.
