I had the unpleasant experience recently dealing with "Maximum Audio Video" of Tampa when I purchased a simple $399 overhead DVD unit for our family van. To total price for the unit plus installation came out to $780, which apparently is a rip off on the install charge. I also had a warranty related issue with the unit later and requested they contact the manufacturer of my unit to see if anything could be done, the said they would "try".. and eventually the answer was "NO you are out of luck".. So, I contacted the manufacturer on my own and explained the situation. The manufacturer apologized and overnight-ed me a brand new unit FREE. They then set me up with a FREE install at another location for my troubles, I assume Maxium Home Theater is known to have treated others in the same manner and they took it upon themselves to make me happy.
Be careful, these guys are school drop outs with no business sense looking to prey on anyone who has not done their home work first.. I fell for it and learned, don't repeat my missteps..
