Dr Kauffman is the best!! Had 2 teeth pulled and never felt a thing. Scared to death but he was able to calm me down enough to get them out without sedation. Will definitely go back to him for extractions when I have to..

I have known Dr. John Yurosko for over 35 years. I am a retired RN, but at the time I was working in Venice he was practicing there. He was ALWAYS an exceptional, pleasant gentleman and an extremely gifted oral surgeon. I also went to him as a patient and he diagnosed me with TMJ. I can honestly say I never heard a negative remark about Dr. Yurosko either professionally or personally. He was very well regarded in the community. (I can also remember, he's the ONLY Dr.I've ever known that wrote "Thank you" after he wrote his orders in a patients chart.) I admire him to this day even though it's been years since I saw him.

I have a condition that is very rare and difficult to diagnose. I have seen about 20 different practitioners most in the Tampa area and many who work in a teaching facility. Dr. Yurosko is the only one who believed that my excruciating pain is real. He helped me immensely. He is the only one who bothered to try and diagnose a rare condition. He did so by doing research and calling pathologists. Believe me, other practitioners do not take the time and don't care like he did. The testing was negative, but he helped me rule out some illnesses that had been in question for more than 2 years. I wish there were more professionals who care as much as he does. The office staff member Shirley was also very friendly and warm. Going to their office was a much better experience than I had with other offices.
