Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Atlanta Midtown

We booked Fred Astaire dance in Terminal West for our wedding dance choreography. We had a great instructor and learned some new dance moves. Unfortunately, more emphasis was placed on learning to dance all types of steps instead of choreography for our wedding dance. After multiple weeks of attending classes and with only one lesson left, we never actually had a wedding dance. When we signed up for the 6 class package, we were assured that we would have a simple dance choreographed but that did not happen. We actually decided to not pursue our last dance lesson because we were disheartened by this as well as feeling pressured into buying another expensive package. We are both young, fit people who are capable of learning a simple, choreographed dance. We made our intentions and goals clear from the day we paid for our first expensive package that the wedding choreography was the only reason we were there. I would recommend this place to anyone who is pursuing dance as a hobby and as a competitive sport. I would not recommend it for wedding dance choreography.

We have been members for years. We tried at least 6 studios in the Atlanta area prior to signing up for private lessons at BDC. They had the best program hands down. After, gheez, ?like 5 years?, we have never regretted a moment. The instructors are wonderful, and willing to accommodate individual goals.
