This company is a scam, they ask for a deposit then a VAT, in which the USA DOES NOT HAVE. Stay away from this company you will be scammed.

I was led to believe this was a reputable company. After searching their business on the internet, I contacted the number listed on the website. The point of contact asks that I complete the application for a business loan and someone would get back to me. After being approved for the loan, I was asked to provide the requested documents(Driver's license, bank statements, SSN, and Articles of Authority for my business). A contract was sent to my email to read, verify terms of loan, sign, and return, along with security deposit and bank information where approved funds would be deposited. I thought it was unusual for a lender to ask a borrower to provide a security deposit in which the deposit would be returned at the end of the contract. I explained my apprehension about the deposit to the point of contact who then assured me that their business was legit and guaranteed the loan would be provided. This person also provided registered documents of their business provided by the Georgia Secretary of State. On the day the funds were to be deposited into my account, the point of contact emailed me stating the bank needed me to pay an additional $400 for the value of the loan added tax(VAT). Some sort of new IRS policy that disbursements must be registered with the Treasury Department Office. By this point, I knew this was a scam and decided to contact BBB as well as the Georgia State of Secretary to file a claim and hopefully prevent anyone else from being scammed by this company. When I last spoke with the contact from this company, requesting a refund on my deposit. The contact told me there was a $200 fee for canceling the contract. In which only a portion of the deposit would be returned. I have still yet to hear back from this person and they have been avoiding my emails and calls. Needless to say, I lost $700 in this process.
