Comfort Keepers Home Care

Ive had no major issues with Comfort Keepers staff until today. Staff may not like my response but I believe in correcting a wrong. I go above and beyond at every location that I step foot in. I have an extremely busy schedule but still make every effort to help when I can especially with last minute call outs. I even alter my schedule when I can. Why cant I get the same energy in return. Yes, we are human and none of us are perfect but It truly bothers me that a client accused me of stopping by their residence unscheduled. I am a professional; I work based on my availability to fill in and nothing more. I was told that this was reported 5 months ago. Thats not good at all. I never heard anything about it from staff until today. Comfort Keepers staff did not take the appropriate action which was to follow their own rules as they ask caregivers to do simply CALL ME and verify the information. Im honest and grown enough to admit if Ive done anything wrong. Im a good person and I am not pleased with being labeled by a client and family as anything other than the genuine, reliable person that I am. Please be careful not to do this to anyone else.

From the intake nurse that spoke with me on the phone and walked me through everything to the amazing helpers they sent-- this company is TOP notch. We got Comfort Keepers for my precious Mom as she was in hospice in my home. Although hospice is wonderful, they are not here all the time. I have 3 kids and needed some additional help with Mom. Every person they sent was kind, offered to do more to help (all of the ladies that came folded our laundry to help-- one even vacuumed!) I am not new, sadly to this industry-- we lost my Dad in '16 and the company we used then came up so short. One of the care givers even drew an imaginary line around my Dad's hospital bed and said this was his area and ONLY his area of work. They would not help my Mom, make a light meal let alone fold laundry! This experience with Comfort Keepers was 1000% different. I was reluctant & nervous that it would be a waste of valuable money. This company and it's people care. They obviously pay their people well & have instilled a commitment to care and compassion. The measures they took were outstanding. Bri came for the first visit with a Starbucks & cupcakes for my Mom as it was her 82nd birthday! They later delivered a snowcone machine for my Mom ( that my kids have greatly enjoyed) that proved invaluable in her final days. My Mom sadly has passed now but I had to share that this company is truly dedicated to service! They even sent me flowers this week & condolences. Thank you Comfort Keepers Canton, GA!

Working for comfort Keepers is more like working with family. The management and staff are all very friendly and care deeply about their employees and clients. I have been working with comfort keepers since 2017 and I have not regretted any of it. They are very flexible with my schedule when needed and even offered to drive me to the hospital when I needed surgery. I am very pleased with this company and the way that its not all about business. I would recommend working here to anyone.

I like working for Comfort Keepers because they make sure the client is well taken cared off, and they also provide training to better our CNA skills.

Comfort Keepers is a wonderful organization for both caregivers and seniors. Caring for seniors is a very rewarding experience and Comfort Keepers gives flexibility to make your own schedule and compassionate and friendly staff to support their employees.
