Budget Truck Rental

The budget location I went to was great very friendly and polite workers the truck on the other hand need work it needed a wheel alignment making it hard to drive.

I have several "charges" that the Budget Customer Service representatives can't even explain. All they could say was they are location specific charges so now I am waiting on a call back from a manager. We are talking around of $100 worth of charges. $25 of those from a late fee.. Even though it was returned on time.. I picked up and dropped off on a Saturday. The solo associate at this location was dressed in baggy sweat pants, boxers hanging out, and a graphic t-shirt. I had to wait for approximately 15 minutes as he was arguing/yelling with the customer in front of me. When it was finally my turn he went on and on complaining about the customer being stupid and wrong. He handed me the keys and a hand cart and sent me on my way. I asked if he was going to do a walk through inspection prior to me leaving (as other rental companies have done) and he just gave me a blank stare and said everything should be good. When I got to the truck it had a broken windshield, was missing the fire extinguisher, and had other issues. I will never rent from Budget again. The only reason I did in the first place was due to receiving a coupon during my USPS address change. Who would have thought all this trouble over an 8 hour rental of a 12 foot truck..
