        HOA wants you to pay dues, but don't really do what they're supposed to do. I hav r neighbors that I absolutely can never get sleep for. Because they're constantly fighting and making ruckus. Dirt bikes and things are riding all times of the night. Need speed bumps in the street. Vehicles parked all in people's grass. For a couple of years there was an empty lot in front of my house, with bushes and debris in it. There should be no HOA over here. Especially not trying collect our money.
