Called last week to inquire about doing some work at my house this week. The woman who took my call offered to have the handyman bring tools and start work on the same day as the estimate if I agreed. I said "Sure." Handyman shows up, provides estimate, does not offer to perform any work and we decide he can do it two days later and that I'd get a call the following day to schedule it. The call never comes.
I call the day that the work was to be performed asking what time I can expect the handyman. They have no clue what's going on and try to contact him to no avail. She says she'll put out an urgent message for him and would call me back. That was the last contact I ever had with Handyman Connection. Thanks for wasting my time.

We hired Handyman Connection to install a toilet and replace a tub drain. The person they sent was quite affable and did a great job on the toilet. Unfortunately, there was a small misstep with the tub drain, which lead to a large leak. We had to have an emergency plumber come out that evening, and then come back later to repair the mistake.
As a teacher, I've often told my students, it's not that you screwed up (everybody screws up now and then), it's what you do about it after.
This is where Rusty and Handman Connection really impressed.
I had a call with Rusty the day after to explain what happened, and he took all the necessary steps to make it right, including sending someone out to repair the ceiling damage. The repair job was flawlessly done, and we're planning on hiring HC again in the near future.

We've used Handyman Connection on three different jobs in the span of about a month and they've been great. However, the fourth time we needed a handyman we felt like they were trying to gouge us. Needed some siding replaced on a chimney and the quote we got back was almost 3 times what they originally estimated. No explanation or detail on the quote of $4,200. Asked why the difference and was told the whole chimney would need the siding replaced. Really? More than half of the chimney already had that done with hardie board. Modified our review from 5 to 3.
