Daniel C. Schopp, DDS

Dr. Daniel Schopp was a fill in dentist at my local dentistry for my recent exam today. He was extremely rude and wasn't attentive to the issues that I presented to him. He didnt seem to respect me or the dental technician that worked on me. She was a very nice, polite, and thorough technician; everyone there always is. I've been going to this establishment for 15 years, and because he was there, it was the worse experience that I've ever seen. Highly unprofessional in asking me if I was listening to him, when in fact he was the one not listening to me, the patient! I was trying to relay the message from my orthodontist about a cavity, and he kept talking about a tooth on the opposite side. Me, being a person going into the medical field, clearly understands the bases of patient care, making sure that they are comfortable and that things are done to the best of their abilities. Not talk to a patient as if they are incompetent. He didnt introduce himself and appeared to be too quick to just be done with me because the exam was not thorough on the level in with Dr. Kimberly Harper has done in the past. With that being said, it was almost as if it was due to his racial discrimination and him talking in a condescending manner. Well, excuse me, but this behavior is highly disrespectful and unacceptable. It doesn't matter what profession one may work in; no one should be treated this way. The whole staff had ill feelings about him and they apologized to me for him being a complete jerk. They will be documenting and having a talk with his behavior.

Very prompt at addressing questions or concerns, answering messages. Extremely personable staff who are genuinely interested in taking care of patients!
