Came to eat and they were out of bread and the coke machine was broken.

Walked in at 1pm and was told they were out if bread and there would be a twenty minute wait, I returned later and was told half the sandwiches on the menu weren't available and not only that various soups on the menu weren't available. Since I attempting to use a Groupon offer I dealt with the hassle. The Freestyle coke machine was completely empty with the exception of diet products. Food was skimpy with small servings and even with taking the Groupon discount into consideration not worth the supposed $16 value. This establishment is a rip off and poorly managed.

While the food, staff, and decor are quite nice - this sandwich stop does not, in my opinion differentiate themselves in any way from Subway although you will pay more for a sandwhich at H&G. In fact, I think Subway makes a better sandwhich. Advice for H&G: more customization of sandwhiches, like subway, lower prices, more selection, specials that are at a discount, not a premium.

They have great sandwiches and soup which keep me and my co-workers coming back weekly. That being said, more often then not our orders are incorrect when they arrive. Granted, the management staff DOES make attempts to rectify the situation, but seriously, it's a soup and sandwich shop...not exactly the epicenter of complex problem solving requirements.
