    My Wife and I came into the dealership today to look at a larger vehicle for our family,as our "little ones" are not so little anymore. James greeted us as soon as we pulled onto the lot. He was very professional, friendly, and down to earth. He makes you feel like family and doesn't make you feel like all he is doing is trying to sell a vehicle. He finds out what you are looking for and what fits your budget. We told him what we wanted and he found exactly that. We ended up purchasing a 2013 Kia Sorento. He found out what we were able to do financially and took the offer back to the finance department and worked a miracle!! We drove off the lot this afternoon without having to put any money down!! That was indeed a blessing!!! (especially since our credit is not perfect by any means) My family and I would like to say to James "Real" McCoy, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!     James "Real" McCoy invited me to return to Douglasville Kia where I had purchased a 2011 Optima two years ago, to come down and see if we couldn't get into a financially better situation on a new vehicle. I had mixed feelings as I was extremely happy with the car I had, but upgrading to the same model in the 2013 line of cars was motivating. Mr. McCoy and all of the personnel were friendly, positive and work with me to get the deal I desired. While we felt bad about saying goodbye to our dependable 2011 model, we can see that the improved quality options and safety features will make our 2013 addition an extension of the fine and appreciated service this dealership has rendered on our behalf.

    From the beginning to the end of my car buying experience at Douglasville Kia I had nothing but first class customer service. It started with Jay Zuck, but didn't end with him. I also received great customer service from Mike Swain, my sales consultant. With the help and proper guidance that I received from these two gentlemen I am now driving a 2012 Optima Hybrid. They didn't pressure me into anything, as a matter of fact they left me alone to think about things like how much I could afford, did it make sense to get a new car, etc. I walked out the door the first day thinking how much respect I have for Jay and Mike. I could tell they had a lot of integrity and wouldn't lead me in the wrong direction. Jay was up front and honest with me from the get go about my financing issues. If it wasn't for Jay I would not be driving this car right now. My sales consultant Mike was fantastic. He went over all the features of the car and answered all my questions. I can't remember the last time I received such great customer service from a group of people like I did at Douglasville Kia. One more thing I would like to share and that is, Jay and Mike pulled some strings and found a beautiful Hybrid at another dealership, had it delivered to their dealership and stayed late until I got there and until the car got there. I couldn't believe they did that and to top it off, the car was so much more then what I expected. I guarantee this is not the first time they've done this for someone. Rest assured, you will get amazing customer service from anyone you meet at Douglasville Kia. I only dealt with Jay and Mike so if you deal with them I am 110% positive you will receive the same customer service as I did. You will be getting 2 of the best car experts in the business.     As loyal Nissan customers we were very hesitant to trade in our Altima for a Kia. Although we were unable to get a deal with a new one we were able to purchase a used one. The salesmen and managers were very helpful throughout the entire process. DeSol was able to answer all of our questions and was even willing to help me connect my bluetooth and get the settings correct for that. Mr.McCoy was such a pleasure to speak with and work with. Everything was going smoothly until we sat down with the Director of Finance Jay M. Zuck. Apparently there had been a misunderstanding with what price we had agreed to on the sales floor and the price that was finalized in the finance dept. We proceeded to explain to him that the price wasnt what we agreed on and instead of trying to figure out how to fix it, he then went into great detail about how he was getting us a stellar deal on interest rate. gap protecton, and an extended warranty. All this was ok except for the fact that it wasnt what we agreed to. We told him again that it wasnt right and he immediately began to get frustrated and took out a sheet of paper to try and further explain his reasons for this price. Once again we explained that it did not matter what he told us, the price wasn't what we agree to. After his last attempt to explain to us, and our last attempt to tell him we werent going to pay it, he stormed out of his office and began consulting with the salesman. This is what we could hear from INSIDE his office, "Will you please explain to 'These People' that the price you gave was not suppose to include....." I was immediately offended by the way he was handling this situation. First of all, my husband and I have names, Secondly, we DID NOT HAVE to trade in my car to kia, we could have went directly to Nissan instead. After hearing the attitude and frustration in Jay's voice my husband and I got our things and went to get our keys to go home. At that point I no longer wanted to give Kia any of our business. We could not locate our Altima keys so we found Mr.McCoy and asked him to get them for us. He was not aware of what was going on. He brought us our keys and we immediately headed towards the door. I was brought to tears because I have NEVER experienced such depersonalization in my life. Especially not from a car dealership. When the manager realized what was going on he rushed out to us to ask what was wrong. I was so mad that i couldnt form words except "Your finance man has really offended me". We were immediately brought back in and consoled about how to make it better and what could they do to not lose there business. The monthly payment was then reduced to what we agreed on and Jay offered us a "free oil change on him". Overall, the experience was ok. I was highly pleased with the Sales Staff. Mr.McCoy and DeSol were very friendly and attentive to our needs. But I would recommend that Douglasville Kia offer Jay Zuck more training on customer service. I have never been so offended by someone in his position. I expected alot more from that area of a car dealership. Yes, our payment was reduced in the end to what we agreed, and yes he gave us the free oil change, but i would rather him keep the free oil change and him sign a waiver saying he would work on his customer service skills. No car buyer should ever have to experience something such as this. The excitement about getting a vehicle was stripped completely and we were just ready to leave. Needless to say, my overall experience was ok. I would recommend Douglasville Kia in the future ONLY because of the service I received from DeSol and Mr.McCoy. I have high hopes and expectations for the remaining time that I own my Kia. I surely hope they can live up and surpass the quality of service we have always received from Nissan.
