    Does not have vehicles advertised online. After arriving for my pre-paid reservation, I was advised the vehicle was not available; I could take a vehicle with less storage or pay extra to pick up at another location. It looks like Avis is running a scam by pulling in customers with false low rates on vehicles that do not exist, then up-charging when its too inconvenient to change.

    Dont do it unless you want an overpriced experience. Customer service is TRASH. I was given a car with a 1/4 tank of gas. I returned the car with a FULL tank and was charged a fuel charge of $97 AFTER I checked out I was charged a $60 miscellaneous charge which was not discussed, and still till this day cannot be told what it is for. They dont assist with the walk around so you better take detailed pictures before you drive off. The car smelled like smoke, and they have the nerve to say that youll be charged an extra $450 if you smoke in the car. The first car I received, The oil change light came on not even a week after getting the car and the tire pressure kept going low drastically fast. After pre-paying $1146 for a month, and extending an extra six days I had to pay an additional $600. Smh just dont do it.

    AVIS IS A JOKE, RENT ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! This was a horrific rental experience. The electric car came with no instructions on how to charge or where to charge or the fact that you can charge at dealerships for free. 0 help from the in store agent!! The agent store advised me that I could not use the dealerships for charging the vehicle which was a lie. I spent over 250 charging this vehicle and there are tons of free charging stations. It took me 12 hours to make a 6 hour trip. Then car had only a 30 percent charge when we picked it up which we had to spend an hour to charge prior to the road trip. What kind of company rents out electric vehicles and gives 0 information to the customer. This was the worse rental experience of my entire life! My 80 year old mother was with me and she was terrified that we were going to lose power In a country area with no charging stations available. Then the charging stations listed from the vehicle itself sent us to several closed, broken and inactive charging stations. You cannot care about your consumers at all. We are never renting from here again, because you wronged us horribly and of course won't do anything to make this right. Even when we returned the vehicle had to wait, store was empty doors open have photos for proof!! Terrible Experience FROM BEGINNING TO END!!

    I made a reservation confirmation #41629982US2. On March 15, 2024 i went to Avis in Stone Mountain, GA to pickup rental. There was not a vehicle available. First of all, The representative stated the incorrect time for my pickup-one hour later and informed me that they were waiting on a customer return. I waited 30-45 minutes and still no vehicle. Finally, a vehicle was returned - not what I reserved! It was dirty, representative did not walk out to inspect vehicle with me. I was so dissatisfied, returned the vehicle to another Avis location three hours later. I requested a full refund and was told that I should receive it in 3-5 business days. I never got a response back from Avis. I spoke to at least three or four representatives but still no response. I was told that because I prepaid for reservation, I will not be getting a refund. I also have not gotten my deposit back or heard anything about it.
