Terrible customer service! Very disappointing experience! I so badly wanted to be a repeat customer, but unfortunately that will not be the case. I bought an Indian Ringneck from this vendor at a bird show. Ive researched this breed and have wanted one for years. I knew it would take time to adjust. However, the bird was aggressive, not jut scared. After a few days I realized the compatibility wasnt there and I suspected she was bonded with someone. We were becoming just as scared of her as she was with us. I called to discuss returning her and spoke to woman who owns the business. I was met with a bit of judgment and a reminder that they only refund 80%. The keep the remaining 20% for their inconvenience. A few hours later I showed up to their physical location with bird in hand. The husband also met me with judgement, was clearly annoyed with me returning the bird, and told me I should have done my research. An employee opened the box stating, is this my baby, and out came the bird clearly bonded to the employee. It was clear in that moment that bonding with me wouldve been a very difficult task. I didnt recognize the bird I bought. The employee also stated she might have to take the bird herself. I did enough research on the breed to know how bonded they get and I understand how bonding with employees might make them harder to sell. During this time the husband informs me cant process my refund at this time bc he does not have the check book which is home with his wife. How can a business be OPEN for business without the ability to process orders and refunds? I told him I spoke with the wife earlier that day and she told me to bring the bird back never once mentioning my refund couldnt be processed. This is an expensive bird! I HAVE NEVER BEEN ASKED TO LEAVE THE ITEM I PURCHASED AND HAVE A REFUND BE ISSUE AT A LATER DATE WITHOUT PROOF OF AGREEMENT! Once he called his wife he was able to issue my 80% refund. I was in tears bc I wanted this bird to work out. They never offered me any other options that might have been a better fit for me and my family. Now Im out a bird I wanted to love and 20% of my purchase when the only one who was remotely inconvenienced was me. I left with tears streaming down my face feeling discouraged, harshly judged, and like my experience was set up for failure. I hope that employee enjoys her bird. I wouldve been a repeat customer and hoped to utilize them as a valuable resource. Unfortunately, that will not be the case and I will take my business elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Very disappointing experience.

Such a nice small but beautiful bird shop. People working there are knowledgeable and guided me to buy the birds which is best for me. A decent selection of all kinds of parakeets at a reasonable price. They also gave complementary food for the budgie which I bought. Budgie seems to be doing fine after two weeks.

If you have a parrot, this is the place to go. They have everything you need for a whole sale price. It's ridiculously cheap compared to major retailers. I drive 45 minutes here just to buy bird toys and food because of how affordable it is. Plus they recently moved to a new store and it's so much bigger and cleaner.

Brenda and her team has lots of knowledge & gives great advice to anyone who needs it. Handfeeds the babies while you visit with them until they are weened off the formula. Awesome selection of cages, perches, food, toys and a variety of birds that were given up by their families & need a good home.
