I wanted to rent a satellite phone for a 10-day backpacking trip and my coworker recommended this company. The whole process was smooth and easy and I have no complaints! The customer service was great, the phone arrived on the morning it was scheduled to arrive, and to send it back you just tape up the box the phone comes in, put on the prepaid address label, and drop it off with Fedex. We didn’t have service in valleys, as expected, and most phone calls from high elevations/open areas, were a bit choppy. Some calls were dropped but we could just call back and try again. We mostly wanted the phone to put our families at ease that we were okay by checking in occasionally, as well as to check on weather and fire conditions. The phone worked well enough for these purposes. I will definitely rent from here again in the future. We didn’t actually plan to use the phone except in an emergency, so we didn’t purchase a prepaid bundle. Then we changed our mind and decided to check in a couple times on the trip. So our bill for the minutes will probably be high, but it was worth it.

Absolutely amazing customer service!!! Great prices as well. I have been using another company for years and came across SPDirect when comparing prices again. Not only were they cheaper but they made arrangements to meet me after hours and gave me their cell phone number to text. This says a lot about customer satisfaction. Our vacation was perfect in the Bahamas and the phone worked great. Now headed back to Kansas. We will rent from you again. Thanks Jen for the great customer service!!!
