My Michelin tires were 5 years old and had dry rot cracking. They were under New Car, 6 year warranty. Not only did William charge me significantly more than the quote on the phone, he completely failed to offer or honor the factory warranty. Even though my tires were 5 years old, they only had 25,000 miles on them. I went to another, more reputable dealer, where they contacted Michelin. Michelin allowed 70% remaining tread life. This dealer also sold me the tires at the originally quoted price,, less the 70% warranty. Bottom line, I paid about $ 80.00 per tire instead of more than $ 300.00 per tire
