This is our second job with Russ - Owner of DOWN TO EARTH IRRIGATION and LANDSCAPING. After locating and repairing several leaks in our irrigation system, we had them comeback and completely regrade and re-sod our entire backyard. It absolutely looks amazing ! When we bought this home last year the backyard was a mess . Large roots from trees that had been cut down and left and the irrigation patched by different people - a mess . So impressed with Russ and his crew headed by Shawn . It is so refreshing to find honest and fair people who will stand behind their work . Only company in Statesboro that offers a year warranty on all their work . While they ran in to some unexpected issues I never one time felt that Russ was frustrated with the job or me but remained polite and professional as always . I have other landscape plans and would not consider anyone else but DOWN TO EARTH in Statesboro. They do it all and are fair , complete professionals with attention to detail . Down2earth landscaping installed centipede sod in my front and side yard at the end of April 2021. They were very professional and did an excellent job of laying the sod. The yard looked beautiful throughout most of the summer. I did everything that was required in terms of watering, cutting, and fertilizing. One of the main reasons I used Down2earth was Russ told me they guaranteed their sod for a year. In August of 2021, 4 months after it was installed, portions of the sod on the side yard started to die. I called and texted Russ several time in August and September to have him come and look at the sod. I just wanted him to tell me if this was or was not covered under his guarantee. He kept saying he would come look at it, but never did. The sod is not even 1 year old and I will probably have to install new sod in that area because it just looks terrible. The crew was fast, professional, and did a great job. Got a quote, and the very next day, the job was done. Full irrigation install 3 zones 14 heads, and the system is working great. I highly recommend Down 2 Earth. Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance
