I have been going to this eye center for I do not know how many years. (Since they were on Moody Road). The service was always good and the people very nice. I had an appointment next Tuesday (it is now Friday week before). I called to respond to a confirmation call and was told that because they had sent several texts and I had not responded they had cancelled my (future) appointment. I was incensed. I pay no attention to text messages on my cell phone. I am old and have a land line that they also left a message on (which was responded to). My cell phone is not used unless I (infrequently) leave the house. I spoke to the manager and said I had been a customer since they were on Moody to which she responded they had NEVER been on Moody. This is not true and I did not like the condescending attitude. My husband has had some issues getting the correct prescription there and has gone elsewhere. He is very happy with his new glasses from elsewhere. I have hesitated to change, although I, too, have had also some issues with my correction. I always blamed it on me not paying enough attention when picking the glasses up. Was it really worth this kind of review to change a policy that treats everyone like they are not going to show? I have never not shown up. It takes too long to get in.

I paid over $500 for eyeglasses and sunglasses up front and the glasses have not been right! I cant see clearly through them. I made multiple trips back to try to have them corrected and finally went elsewhere for another eye exam (glasses were perfect at the other center). Browns manager refused a refund of any amount and was loud and rude! Never going back! It isnt right to charge up front and not back your product!
