The food is soooo 'Ono and prepared with much Aloha. Most of the ingredients are locally produced from the different islands of Hawaii. You never go wrong in ordering their Season Special, it's all locally grown by local farmers and the fish are freshly caught by the fishermen. Hats off to you, Chef Peter and to the servers who are so warm and articulate.

Aloha and stuff. This place is pretty fancy. Has a nice view of the ocean (beach is lit at night by a giant beam of light). Food is great, staff is very friendly. Bit on the pricy side but if you eat here you're probably staying at the hotel. And its a 4/5 star hotel so yeah.. Would definitely try the Gold Sabbath Blonde Ale, that was nice. And you can take it home if you can't finish it.

There is a lot to like about this restaurant. First, the view is amazing: Hapuna Beach with the sunset and the waves crashing. Second, they offer a nice selection of small plates and some half-portion entree choices, which are great for light eaters. Also, they have a varied wine list with same really reasonable selections, given the setting. Their signature dirty martini, with kimchi and smoked meat in it, is amazing. You'll forego bloody Marys forever after that. The oysters Rockefeller were great, the New York strip cooked perfectly, and the seafood pasta really nice. I have no idea how they did the cauliflower that came with the steak; I'll never think of that vegetable the same way again. The downsides were the churro dessert -- soggy churros -- and the staff was a little brusque. Could have calmed down a bit. We were in no rush, after all.
