Where to begin. We did the top of island tour with Nandor and it was beyond our expectations. Nandor is such a patient, kind and helpful guide. He makes sure you are confident and comfortable throughout the hike. The day we hiked had a lot of mud so the trail at points was a bit technical and thankfully Nandor had spikes and lots of expertise to help us along the way. Nandor was such a pleasure to be around which made our 8 hour hike go by so quickly. Highly recommend, would book with Nandor again!

Nandor is highly experienced with hikes in Oahu. He has great options for all levels. I have done a variety of hikes including waterfall in the jungle, a challenging ascent and crater rim hikes. Nandor has tailored guidance for all these different terrains. He is patient and attentive and makes sure that you are safe and comfortable. He also has extensive knowledge about the wide variety of plants in Hawaii. I am hoping to do more hikes with him!

Traveling alone to Hawaii sparked my interest in a private hiking tour with Nandor of Hungaro Explorer. It was the best decision I could have made. I contacted Nandor with some hiking goals and he helped me choose two different hikes that were absolutely the highlight of my trip to Hawaii. Nandor is a skilled hiker and understands the land and weather patterns of Hawaii. He was very professional and friendly, an easy hiking companion. I was thrilled to hike Konahuanui Peak Trail and Olomana Trail. Both were challenging, and Nandor provided just the right amount of encouragement and guidance for a pleasurable hike. He does not crowd a huge group together, but rather offers a true private hiking tour, clearly prioritizing the quality of the experience. I would recommend Hungaro Explorer to any level hiker from beginner to advanced. I really look forward to booking more hikes with Nandor in the future. Wonderful!

HIghlight of our 2 week - 3 island Hawaii vacation! Nandor took us on 2 hikes on Oahu. He is a fantastic guide; not only does he know the right places to visit and a lot about their history, flora and fauna but he is also very sensitive to his guests' needs. He dictated a pace which was perfectly comfortable so we covered a good distance without getting overly tired. We'll unhesitatingly recommend this knowledgeable and fun guide.

I just had a great hiking experience with Hungaro Explorer. We hiked up to the top of the Ko'olau Mountains where we were greeted with amazing views and scenery. Learned a lot about local trees, flowers, geography. Thank You Nandor for the great experience!
