Emergency Pet Care - Annie Bowes DVM

I took my dying dog here after going in for testing and evaluation by a regular vet. He needed a blood transfusion and he needed it right away. We called ahead and our vet sent over his records. I thought they would be waiting for us with open arms. From the moment we stepped through that door there was no compassion, kindness or urgency. They asked for my dog to step on the scale and he couldnt even walk. We had just sent over everything they needed from another vet. When the vet came in she didnt even acknowledge my critically ill dog. That was a big red flag and I expressed my concern which she immediately replied you can go somewhere else and when I expressed I care about saving my dog and want to get him help she ended up telling me to leave. Absolutely evil and heartless people. The way we were treated was cruel and disgusting.

It feels like a bunch of people who signed up to work with animals but dont want to. I was told over the phone it was going to be a super long wait yet they had me in and out in 30 minutes. Im only home on weekends and to the best of my knowledge theyre the only place open on weekends. I have a very anxious dog but she is a sweetheart and it was kinda my only option besides another emergency clinic which I will go to next time unless it cannot wait the extra ten minutes to get to the Coeurdalene I did get my pups infection handled but dang did the entire visit just seem very off putting.

When my dog Shadow had a very rare thing and we had to put him down in emergency situation they were great. They gave me my options. Then after a little while I got his paw prints mailed to me with a card. I take all of my animals here.

Very traumatic experience terrible communication that left my girlfriend crying and confused. Not professional at all they are supposed to help you through things not be frantic and act like they have no idea what's happening. Won't be going back way overpriced for the quality of service and lack of knowledge.
