I've rafted this river 13 times with MFRE and this latest trip (August 16-21) was the best yet.
What made it so memorable? Let me count the ways:
The River - the Middle Fork is the liquid emerald jewel of the Frank Church. Its pristine, verdant waters teem with fish, attract wildlife of all sorts and the wilderness is just that - wild!
The Guides - to a person, the guides are professional, informed, informative, safety-conscious and just plain fun! Costume/margarita night is a highlight.
The Food - sumptuous, delicious, varied, and plentiful. I've always gained weight on an MFRE trip.
The Guests - I invited nine friends to join me and they all told me multiple time that this river trip is a wonderful experience. We were joined by 14 other folks who also experienced the wonder and grandeur of The River of No Return and its Impassable Canyon.
My recommendation?
Make a reservation and go on this truly exceptional expedition.
