I really love Union Station. As a power Amtrak user, it's a convenient, economical, and fast alternative to flying. I don't own a car, so Amtrak is a must when traveling short-to-medium distances. However, Union Station has an objectively confusing layout. It's unclear where lines are going when folks start to line up for a train, and I still don't understand the track numbering system. The customer service is good, and the services are prompt, but the confusing layout makes it difficult for beginners to navigate. Also, the food options are a little underwhelming for such a popular traffic nexus. It's also architecturally very pretty.
