I stayed here once about 15 years ago and it was very nice. I booked another 3 night stay here recently and this place has turned into the worst hotel in the Chicago area. Ironically, it's now called America's Best Inns. The smell in the room was unbelievably bad and the place was filthy. The bedspread looked like something had been spilled on it and housekeeping didn't bother to wash it. The bathroom sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months, there was hair all over it. The room had been painted and whoever did it had let the paint drip all over on the carpet, tv, nightstand, clock, EVERYTHING! After seeing all this, I went to the front desk and told the clerk I wouldn't stay in such a filthy place and asked for my money back.
