White Oak Camp Ground

Do not camp here. There is a bar at the corner that lets you camp for 7 dollars /night per camper, white oak is 25 bucks. There is no drinking? GTFO. They told me before camping that they have lost over 100 trees to ash bore, and not to take logs out of Starved Rock to burn. I took some squaw wood out of the woods right behind our campsite and was burning it in half when the guy came around in his ford explorer and told me to throw that back in the woods, whatever, it's a scam to get you to buy his 10 dollar/ 5 log bundles at the gate. I have recently found out that ash bore beetles fly, and that they spread the bacteria that infects trees through their excrement. So, my dragging a log 40 feet into the fire-pit, was spreading these ash-bore... bathrooms were clean.
