Bobbi Jo was an incredible teacher, advisor, mentor, and support throughout our birthing classes and my daughter’s birth. Neither my husband nor I knew much about childbirth going in, and she was patient and warm as she helped us through the (very thorough and hugely beneficial!) birthing class. And having her with us during the actual labor and birth was SO important. Her wisdom, knowledge, experience, and encouragement were completely invaluable and brought so much security and joy into the whole process. I truly can't imagine having done it all without her. We will be forever grateful to have had her with us!

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Bobbi Jo through our (virtual) Evidence Based Birthing class. I knew going into the class that Bobby Jo would have an abundance of labor and birthing knowledge and skill from her years of nursing and doula experience, but we left the class with our expectations far exceeded. As first time parents, we feel prepared going into our birth experience (in just a few short weeks). Bobby Jo did a wonderful job at coaching us through the evidence and facts of the EBB course, but also spent additional time answering side questions and reassuring us emotionally for what is to come. Even my husband (a non medical person) was really impressed and engaged through the weekly courses and content. We are excited to use our new knowledge and skills to have a beautiful and positive birth experience!

Bobbi Jo Bush was my doula and she seriously helped me to feel empowered to speak up for my preferences and my personal birth experience. I had the resources and was educated on what I wanted as a consumer in the hospital. I learned delivery is unpredictable and adapting to any changes is possible. I felt prepared, encouraged, inspired, and motivated. I appreciated Bobbi Jo's compassion and support through my delivery.

Bobbi Jo attended the birth of our first child and I truly can’t imagine what it would have been like without her. We had a labor that didn’t progress quickly so Bobbi Jo’s guidance, encouragement, knowledge and expertise was invaluable to us. She has a calming presence that is needed during what can be an anxious time full of unknowns (especially for us first time parents!) She not only equipped me with tools for breathing and mindsets but she also coached my husband on practical things like pressure points to help my back labor. She treated us with such dignity and respect and honored birth as a very sacred event. We were honored to have her at our birth and will be having her at our next!

Bobbi Jo was extremely helpful for the pre/post delivery of our baby. There was very valuable information that my wife and I would have never known without the help of Bobbi Jo. Tips and pearls were given like how to position ourselves for natural birth when in the hospital, the hospital opinion verses our birthing plan and how to address the hospital staff of our desires and needs, terminology and how certain treatments can have an impact on the natural birthing process, techniques and ideas through the many stages of labor, preparing for labor for the husband and wife, the list just goes on and on. It was such a joy having Bobbi Jo as our doula and I would highly recommend her for an exceptional birthing experience to anyone!!
