We requested an estimate for some significant electric upgrades to our house and barn. The receptionist talked down to my wife about the issues we were having even while we tried to hire them to fix those issues. The electrician who came out was polite and professional. When inspecting one of the fuse boxes we requested he replace with a breaker he noticed it was empty, and speculated that it was the reason for the dead outlet we had also requested be fixed. He popped in a 98c fuse and carried on with the estimate. After he left we received a bill for a half hour of work (it took 5 min), the 98c part (fair), and a $54 service call. The receptionist claimed she told my wife that an estimate was going to cost $54, however what my wife wrote down was that any service calls were $54 dollars, but that did not include estimates. There's a possibility for miscommunication there, however the receptionist was rude and poorly communicated information to the point of confusion, then they took the opportunity to nickle and dime us up from a free estimate to a $90 service call. Summary: poor communication, will take the opportunity to nickle and dime you.

Great communication, came out gave me an estimate and a break off the total price if they did the work at the same time. Installed hot tub pig tail and dug a 40 ft trench by hand. Put in an outlet above our fire place. No issues, would use again.

BEWARE!!! We had him out to work on our barn wiring. The final cost was twice what he quoted. And then we found that several things had been stollen from the barn, worth hundreds of dollars! He has very poor work ethic, charges way more than he quotes, and gets a five finger discount on top of that.
