Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elkhart North, an IHG Hotel

As a frequent business traveler, I've relied on Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elkhart for my accommodations numerous times. However, my recent week-long stay, from Monday to Friday, left much to be desired. First, I check in on Monday to a dirty bathroom in my king size room. So, they moved me to a double queen suite (not really a suite they just make it sound good). On Thursday morning at 6:20 am, I called downstairs requesting two rolls of toilet paper, only to be met with a dismissive response from the staff member, who informed me that I could find some at the front desk. When I explained the lack of housekeeping service during my entire stay, she begrudgingly agreed to leave the items at my door. Regrettably, her solution was far from satisfactory. Without any semblance of respect or courtesy, she threw a single toilet tissue and Kleenex at my door, without even bothering to knock or apologize for the inconvenience caused. This experience falls short of the standards expected from the IHG brand, and as a result, I will not only refrain from staying at this hotel in the future but also advise my colleagues to seek accommodations elsewhere. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN and the owner wonder why the hotel not making money.

As always great customer service! Check in was excellent. Front desk was always welcoming! Comfortable beds. I slept like a fat turtle laying on my back lol! Great breakfast! As always. Semi truck parking! Excellent!!

I would give this hotel all 5 stars, but there was one individual who made myself and guests feel uncomfortable. She works at the front counter and I'm pretty sure her name is Cassandra. Very unpleasant and just seemed like an absolute bother to her. She sat in the lobby and played on her phone, she expressed to one of my colleagues how she likes to eat Skittles(he was buying a bag)when she smokes marijuana. Other than that all the staff was very professional and courteous..And a hats off to Ellie,i think her name is.. she apologized profusely for her coworker...

BE WARNED! I stayed in this hotel for two nights this week while in town for a conference. When I came back on day number two I found my mouth guard (which I left on the night stand next to the bed) around the corner on the floor of the bathroom. Absolutely insane and I got nothing from the front desk who did not answer my calls for the first three attempts. I don't know what the deal is here but I would avoid this place at all costs unless you want their staff messing with your stuff while you're out. Disgraceful.
