Ultimately,I blame this negativite experience on myself for not doing enough research on the front end. I added Jack’s number in my phone a few years ago when another contractor used him to clean up a job site. At that time, he did a good enough job for me to save the number for future reference. Given this false sense of security, I allowed him to quote “whole house cleaning” over the phone for $350. This price seemed agreeable considering his original explanation of cleaning all siding, brick, chimney, and all windows and doors.
Here’s the way it went down:
Jack doesn’t do any of the work himself. The gentleman who performed the work, started off by explaining there might be “tiger stripes” on the gutters afterwards, and that was a totally different process and service. We in fact do have tiger stripes on our white gutters now. In addition, most of the windows have severe spotting on them, including our front storm door and back sliding glass door. Jack’s explanation was, I must have hard water, so what you’ll need to do is “take a spray bottle full of water and vinegar and douse them, they’ll come right off”. Just what you want to hear when you paid someone good money to perform a service at your home.
Again, my fault, but there was no paperwork, receipt or anything official for that matter. Just my cancelled check to act as a reminder that I did begrudgingly pay him. Jack didn’t waste any time when it came to collecting his payment. He did not want me to pay the sub directly, so he made sure to come the next morning to collect himself. On that visit, he pulled up in the driveway, called me on the phone to come out, he asked what I thought of things, and I told him my concerns. I also mentioned, I probably should have just stuck with my original plan to only clean the siding, where there was mildew and some algae. I then made him reiterate the number that he wanted me to pay. He offered no apologies, discount, or other conciliations. At this point, I was ready to just write a check and be done with this experience. Jack never turned off the truck or bothered to get out.
I will say, the siding is clean where it was once dirty. Nothing like having to clean up after your cleaning. 🤨 Anybody know a good window/gutter cleaner? I have a couple other projects to pay for now.

Had to sue this company back in 2009 when they first started. Stole pictures of our work and used them on mailers and doorhangers.
Run and managed by thieves. Better hope I never run into you clowns around town....
