I chose Fort Financial because they are local and I thought I would be treated better than i would at a Chase or Goldman Sachs. I've had two car loans with them and was pleased with both interest rates that i was given. Today I went in to the Maysville Road Fort Financial to make a car payment and I asked about ordering half dollars which I had done in the past. The teller said she didn't think it would be a problem and that another customer has a standing order every month for $2 bills but she needed to check with the manager. She came back and said the manager said no! When i asked why? She said that the manager was worried that I wouldn't pick up the half dollars and that they would be stuck with them? I told her no problem I'll pay in advance I want $3,000 worth. She said no can't do it? So instead of giving her the $3,000 for the coins I stroked a check for $3,700 and paid off my car and closed both savings accounts. She acted like she didn't care and was glad I was leaving the bank. So tomorrow I'm going to go open a saving account at Chase because I can't get treated any worse than I was at Fort Financial.
