"I just wanted to thank Steve for his recent assistance. On the very last day Bug Eyed was in operation in Byron, Georgia, my husband and I made a purchase of seat belts from their store. Although we thought we were getting complete seat belts, we only received half of our order. When I called your office I spoke first with John, and then with Steve about the issue. Steve worked for several weeks to get us the second half of the seat belts and they arrived today. I just wanted to thank him for all of his hard work. We just purchased our VW Beetle in October and will be needing several items for it. Since it is a 1971 model, and since we have not found parts nearby, you will be our source for parts from now on! If I were to give you a "star" rating - it would be five stars! Thank you again."

Want to be ripped off? This is the place to shop. A large VW parts distributor, but their owner, Gary Claxton, does not believe in giving you an invoice or writing down prices. You can get a price from him, and when he charges you, the price is different. Try to question him, and he begins to yell at you. Screams the N word and mocks your intelligence. Add up the invoice he gives you, and the numbers to do not equal his total. He sells you the wrong parts and tells you, YOU are wrong when you question the veracity of his information. You prove to him he's incorrect, with measurements, with VW part numbers and even his own texts and print outs from his website, and he denies the facts then takes down his website parts catalog. He is not very knowledgeable in VW even though this is his families business. He yells at his wife and kids in front of customers. During these covid times, he and his family do not wear masks and mock customers that do. Try to get a refund, and he accuses you of :Nickle and diming" him and "thieving" him. He touts he is a millionaire, and doesn't need your sales. He took the items I was purchasing, another $300 worth, but did not want to write an invoice and threw them, when I asked for one. He said he does not want to write invoices because he then has to pay taxes he says. Try to return items he sold you that were incorrect, and he just wants to swap them out for a new purchase instead of writing an invoice or giving you a price He doesn't know what you returned or bought or what he charged you because he refuses to write things down. And when he does, you will see the same item written more than once with a different price. I never accused him of fraud, but basically that is what he does. He tries to rip you off and when you confront he yells and tries to make you out to be the bad guy. There are dozens of more reputable VW parts dealers. I will use them, and urge you to do so as well.
