Honestly, there isn't any way to do a 3.5 stars so I will hedge to the better side with 4 in hope that we caught the staff on an off day. We did not stay at the hotel or even visit that part of the facility so we can't rate it. The water park is small enough to not lose anyone but big enough for small pre-teens to enjoy themselves. The facility is aging but in good repair. The restrooms/changing rooms could use benches or seating and better drainage.

The hotel is great! Beds are fantastic! Kids had a blast. But the food AWFUL! I spent $100 for 1 adult and 4 kids and went to McDonalds after because it was so bad all my kids age were rolls and crackers. I'd definitely suggest eating elsewhere. Rooms : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 More

The rooms could've been a lot cleaner than what mine was, but overall, it wasn't a big setback. A big reminder when visiting the water park area during the winter times: They don't open the roof, so the chlorine chemical smell is insanely strong, causing your lungs to hurt & eyes to burn like crazy. If your kiddos have asthma, then I'd visit during the summertime. We love visiting here, but this was our 1st time doing it during the winter, so we learned a lot this time around.

The rooms need an update. We had a 2 queen bed room. Neither need had a fitted sheet - only a flat sheet. Then for covers, there was a flat sheet & a thin fleece blanket. We had two extra fleece blankets brought to our room. Also the rooms could have had some USB outlets. I mean, the alarm clock was set up with a docking slot for an iPod.
Other than what was mentioned above, the room was fine & clean.
Rooms: Be sure to bring your own usb chargers/brick/plugins. There were zero in our room. This has been common in hotels for several years.
Nearby activities: I would not recommend going to or buying the SHOTZ package. What a waste. This shotz facility is owned by the same company. Total let down - especially in the winter.
