Bear Hollow Wood Carvers

Wood carvings are impressive. That being said, this is NOT the place to take a family or children (or a decent adult). The whole place is full of foul merchandise, half the stuff in there has profanity on it, in big and bright ways that we couldn't hide from the kids. Totally ruined our day when we were on vacation and thought we were going to a nice shop with the family to look for souvenirs. Don't want it to surprise others, so wanted to leave a review. Seriously, it's not just a shelf that you can steer away from, it's everywhere and disgusting. This is the first and last place we visited in French Lick - not taking the chance that others have a sense of decency. Sad representation of Indiana.

The clerk never greets me, or even acknowledged me. That is important to me to feel welcome when I walk In a store. Last time, I was the only person in there. No excuse whatsoever to ignore me.It is over priced stuff . I'm a local, been there a number of times. So, I think that I am done going in there. Not that they give a hoot.

Such a neat place to visit! The wood carvings are the best I’ve seen, they also have locally made goods, and the customer service was amazing!
