Went thru Block 17 after doing an apprenticeship. The instructors are awesome! I would like to give a special thank you to Thomas Foley. I put in the work, but you were also the push I needed to get my A&P. Word of advice for everyone, dont give up! Always get up and try again. Work hard and you will get your A&P. Thank you AIM Indy!

The school is amazing and majority of the instructors are very helpful. Only reason I am writing this review is due to the behavior or one instructor. He seemed very helpful in the beginning but after two weeks in his class everything changed. He favors the students who are picking up the material faster, makes sexist remarks about females, speeds through the slides and does not seem to want to teach or be here. This instructor on many occasions will tell groups of students that are learning the material faster things to benefit them. He does not give everyone the same advantages with in the program and I personally believe he shouldn't be the person who picks and chooses who succeeds and who doesn't. While doing projects said instructor will help an specific group of students only. When people not from said group ask for help he makes a rude comment saying he gave us all the materials we need but will help others when they ask. Discrimination in his class makes for a unwelcoming classroom environment. Occasionally this instructor will make sexist remarks against females. Several times have been about said instructors 17 year old daughter, also comparing other females to his daughter in a rude remark. I personally believe there is no room for this while students are trying to make a career. Making females feel belittled or nit good enough to be within the same career field as him. Everyday this instructor speeds though the material. Even when there are signs of students struggling or falling behind he will continue going on. He reads the slides like a robot and that's it, I'm not paying this program crazy amount of money for an instructor to read slides. His attitude to the students sucks and never seems like he wants to be teaching. To me personally he acts like he has better things to be doing, like playing on his phone after lecture. What is the big hurry to zoom through material if we have a set time to leave everyday, his reason is because he would rather be fiddling on his phone at his desk. AIM has tons of great people within their institution but this instructor is chasing away potential. This program needs to open their eyes on who they have teaching and how their attitude is with other students. I know most students are afraid to speak up because they usually get talked to like they are toddlers when speaking to said instructor. I feel bad for this program it could do way better than what they have if they would put in the effort. I was so excited for this program and motivated to become and aircraft mechanic. I always had perfect attendance and got a great grade in previous classes. Sadly since I was put in this instructor class I been falling behind. Like stated before this instructor doesn't want to be here and does not want to teach then why is the institute keeping him here?  I would personally look at going to Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center before you get stuck with an instructor that will do the same thing to you.
