image All i have to say is WOW! Never in my life, did I ever think I'd be getting financed for a house. Aaron Bohn with Century Mortgage, has made that happen. He helped me with everything going on with my credit, and was always so respectful of our needs. Thank you! Thank you! Hopefully be closing on our first home ever! What a blessing!

image I have worked with Aaron Bohn several times for my home loans and referred my clients and neighbors to him as well. Aaron has over 15 years experience and can help his clients out with several Loan products that not every lender offers. Aaron is a get it done type of guy.

image Just had a great experience with Century - did a refinance on my home and they not only came in with best rate but service was excellent. Thanking my rep who was Aaron Bohn - super knowledgeable and nice to work with - he walked me through the steps and delivered for me.

image Just an awful experience. A process that was supposed to take 4 weeks, a simple refinance with no money taken out, ended up taking almost two months. We even paid the closing costs out of pocket, so it's not like we were rolling anything into the loan. It just so happened that the refi coincided with the timeline of our homeowner's insurance renewal and Century had moved our homeowner's policy into their name instead of my previous mortgagor, causing my previous mortgagor to not pay the payment, and causing us to get letters stating that our homeowner's policy would be cancelled for non-payment. Had Century completed the loan in the original timeline perhaps that wouldn't have happened. I had to be the one to get on the phone and straighten everything out and I got it taken care of, just like I had to do seemingly everything in this process.
Everything was disorganized, things were lost and had to be resubmitted, people couldn't grasp concepts like multiple bank accounts for our business and personal, it was just a total horrific experience. We did finally close, though the papers weren't ready when we arrived at the close and we had to wait for them (no surprise) and I got a call after the period where I could back out asking for more information from me, but thankfully it was over and done with.
Or was it? They use a company called SLS to service their loans and if you look at their reviews they are a nightmare. Our first interaction with them was negative. They can't seem to figure out how to set up automatic payments through our checking, they don't accept Visa so that we can pay online, and they just haven't been fun to work with either and we've just begun.

image The process is difficult to begin with. Now add in Century Mortgage and it turns into feeling like the circle that's stuck in that never ending spin on your computer waiting to load a page. This is now your life for seven weeks. You have jumped through every hoop and shelled out a bunch for two inspections and an appraisal. You get no where. You get the satisfaction repeatedly of them saying We have everything, this is all we need but that's not true. Just wait for Monday. There's a new laundry list. And finally you get no house because their documents requests are still pinging the scales 10 days past the signed contract date expired with no financial approval and no contract amendment in place. Never mind that you were going to make a smart 'house to income' purchase of less than 25% of income. You have a steady and reliable income, have a credit score just shy of 800, and 20% to put down. This company needs something like re-training. What they do not need, is YOU. to lead you around all excited on every phone call and text message because you know the next one is going to be the big one telling you You are Approved. Leave them alone. Apparently this is how they get their kicks. I feel repeatedly kicked by this company. I wanted this house. I saw my life in color in this house. I have been searching for four months and put bids on three other houses before this that fell through at the beginning. This one was the GOAL. Century Mortgage doesn't give a crap. I have lost my house while they dawdled shuffling papers and forgetting to keep me timely informed of the next important laundry list of to-do documents. I'm heartbroken. I called and texted today to get ahold of Aaron the broker to inform him of the new developments. It's been almost seven hours and he still isn't in a hurry to call back to offer to grovel at the homeowner to get the deal back because of his teams incompetence. No problems for him today. He has a house. Lousy customer service at this company. I completely was not served. At any other brokerage, I would have had my house by now. Dave Davis, my initial realtor recommended this company. I replaced Dave Davis. I should have been smart and replaced them both.
