This is the shitest bank I have been to. They will do anything in their power to take your money and the when they have a promotion don’t plan on getting your money from it cause they will come up with every excuse in the book to not give you it. They have terrible customer service. Whatever you do don’t get this bank.

There is no local phone number listed on the internet. I called the 800 number and got a recording with options none of which were applicable. After listening to their recording at least six times, I started to press one. I then got a recording that said, we understand that you want to talk to a representative but due to high volume, I would have to wait ten minutes. When I finally got a representative, I tried explaining that I was calling for my ninety-four year old step-mother who wrote a check that cleared the bank, but the payee claimed they never received. The representative then told me that she needed personal information from my step-mother. I then told her I could provide her with her account number, but I was told that was not enough. I tried telling the representative that my step-mother would never be able to get through to her, but she was adamant about the personal information. She then hung up on me or we got disconnected. I think the former. Twenty or thirty years ago, I could have dialed a local number and talked to a real live person, and the matter would have been resolved in minutes. Now the banks won't even return your checks to you unless you pay extra, and they probably would want $50.00 to send a copy of the check to the payee. I do not blame the local branch. I know some of the people there, and they are quite nice, but this kind of nonsense that you have to go through to get a problem resolved is ridiculous, and I am fed up. Somebody may end up apologizing and expressing their sorrow, but it is hypocritical nonsense and nothing will change except that the executives will get paid even more.
