Working with the staff at the liberty dialysis center in Lafayette has been amazing, very personable staff, fun loving and patient...I wouldn't choose another set of people to train/work with...you do not go home without 100%knowledge and care...as well as home visits and patients!!!! The girls in the peritoneal dialysis center are by far the most amazing I've met and worked with ...I'd reccomend this center any day!

I am a retired health facility administrator. I have been on dialysis at Liberty Dialysis for the last 5 years. They have been wonderful to me and my family. They are truly a blessing from heaven. They keep me alive. Without them I don't know what I would do. The Nurses and techs are kind, courteous and professional in their jobs. Patients are treated with dignity and respect. Anyone who says they are bad is full of bologna. I have discovered that in health care there are only a few bad health care professionals. But there are a whole lot of bitter, grumpity patients. No one likes to be sick. You've got to remember, the patients depend upon the employees to keep their lives going. Without dialysis, patients die. So God bless Liberity Dialysis, without them I'd not be around to write this review. Recently, the facility added new patient chairs for better comfort and greater access between patient and nurse/tech. Also updated are the dialysis machines (they cost a fortune apiece). Liberty keeps the place as clean as a pin. I can't think of any other place I could go for such wonderful care and wonderful caring. Thanks to all.

I've been going to this place for years. This place is Horrible! Everything about it is bad. The nurses and staff seem clueless, and don't care about the patients well being. Everyone who has ever worked there and quit has nothing but bad things to say about this place. It is unsanitary too. I've witnessed one of the nurses giving a girl a cup of water that had blood on the cup, and this I heard was not the first time this had happened. They treat the patients like they are numbers, and not human. You can tell they are only doing this job for the pay check. If this place cared about helping their dying patients, they would hire people who are serious about their job, and serious about helping the vulnerable patients that get dialyzed there. I am wondering if the owner of this center even cares. Fresenius owns them, you would think since they are a big franchise they would upgrade the place instead of making it more uncomfortable for the patients as they did recently with the beds. I hope everyone that reads this does not go there, if you care about your family, and you want them to be comfortable and happy in what could be their last days, then I would suggest NOT going there.
