This place is nostalgic, adorable and educational! A small hometown train museum with around 3 rooms of historical train related artifacts. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We went during the Christmas season, so our admission was free. There's also a separate building with a large model train and a bunch of circus paraphernalia. Along with the actual train cars on the property this little hidden gem is worth the quick stop!

Such a nice small museum of railroads! You probably don't expect to find a lot information or inspiration in a small countryside museum, but this one provides exactly that! The curators are so down to earth and accessible! And they are(were) railroaders themselves, so you get first-hand stories and experiences. The kids got hooked on the subject, and are now building a model track at home.
