This is the absolute worst facility I have ever worked for in my entire life and i used to do contract nursing. This place fired me for refusing to fraudulently chart that residents received care that they never got because they could not schedule anyone appropriately and they consistently drove away the staff that they did have. People typically dont quit jobs, they quit poor management and let me tell you the turnover rate is extremely high there. They couldnt keep supplies stocked, it was dirty, the nurse to patient ratios were atrocious, the admissions personnel had no business admitting the patients that they did given the fact that they rarely had the appropriate supplies to care for these individuals even in the ballpark of adequately and believe me i could go on. Dont use this facility for your family members and dont bother applying for employment either. There is a reason they have to offer a sign on bonus and extra high pay and its because they suck. Its not worth it. Go elsewhere.

I worked as the activity director for a very short time. During the Covid outbreak the administrator wasn't following the guidelines set forth by the board of health. I was also expected to pay for activity supplies out of my pocket and wait 60 days to be reimbursed. I still haven't been reimbursed for what I spent. Yet the administrator says she spends $3,000 of her money every month on supplies she says she gets reimbursed for. Yet I have never seen anything that would near ad up to $3,000. I seen employees who were verbally abusive to residents and nothing was ever done. I was constantly accused of things I didn't do. Someone needs to report this facility to state. I feel for any resident in this facility.

Premier Healthcare of New Harmony is truly a home away from home. They are in the beautiful and tranquil town of New Harmony Indiana. This type of environment is perfect for short-term rehab to home or if you or a loved one are in need of long-term care, they even have a secured memory care wing. They have exceptional leadership and a truly wonderful and caring team of healthcare professionals who are committed to your health and well being. Activities and the culinary team always go above and beyond - just so impressed with the attention to detail and the level of care provided. Definitely would recommend this home.

My mom took her last breath in a DIRTY bed last week. The pictures i have of the bed are heartbreaking.
