        Food was good, service was bad. I had the chicken salad served over tomatoes with olives and pickles; it was tasty, filling, and unexpected item at this small-town restaurant. unfortunately our food took a long time to come, and the waitress messed up a bunch of things. One of my dining companions has been here several times before and never had the slow and poor service issues, so maybe this was a fluke. The ambiance is nice, with a train theme that I liked. There aren't a lot of lunch places in North Vernon, so this is probably one of the better bets.
