Do not go to this dental practice. Dr. Scott Kapers is not trustworthy and the billing is handled by his wife Melissa Kapers who does her job in a disingenuous manner. My mother, father and I were repeatedly given verbal statements of costs and then receiving bills that would be hundreds / thousands more for our various implant procedures, crowns. They also offer lots of "insurance" and "evaluations" that have hidden costs and fees that they don't discuss openly and honestly. That alone should be enough to stay away from this practice.
However, Kapers himself has terrible customer service and does not put customer needs first - including both the way he practices dentistry and the way that he treats his own customer's schedule. Since I had been at his practice since I was a little kid, I assumed that dentistry had to be an anxious and sometimes painful experience by nature. I now know that this isn't the case and that everything from long wait times in the dental chair to being unclear about costs and availability of services for pain management / anxiety are not the norm at other dental offices. Kapers just doesn't care to do these things. When I shared a concern about him repeatedly rescheduling my appointments at the last moment, he openly argued with me in his office. This was infuriating to me since I had been at long time customers since I was a child. He wasn't even willing to consider changing to better his longtime customers experience.
I would never recommend anyone come to this office and I wish that I would have left sooner.

Very nice staff!!...Great with working with my work hours. Dr even called me at home to make sure I was ok after my root canal!..I did tell my friends about this place..and they will be going there too!!

My experience at Creating Smiles is always pleasant. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. I recently had an event and wanted to get my teeth cleaned prior to it and they were able to schedule my appointment within the same week. I highly recommend coming here.

I spent quite a lot of money for Kapers to install an implant tooth. I had issues from day one. A couple years later I have to see another dentist to remove it and bone graph to restore the area. Im doing this to have him do the implant correctly. I feel like Im owed some money.

Horrible, they dont even deserve to have one star! Dont get your teeth cleaned here until you get it in writing that you will not pay anything out of pocket.
Asked the staff repeatedly are you in network and are the cleanings covered 100% without any money out of pocket. Constantly reassured that we wouldnt pay a dime out of pocket. Called dental insurance, not even in network. Then a billing statement comes in for over $800 for my kids cleanings!!!!
Their excuse is well those are contracted prices and we dont accept them. Really?! Dont you think you would let your patients know when asked repeatedly before their appts?! Nope not Creating Smiles.
If you want to be lied to and OVER CHARGED for basic services then please sign up with this office! They will make sure to over charge you and then apply finance charges every month as well.
Way to go Creating Smiles for being proven LIARS.
