I wish I could give no stars here!
The worst company I have ever dealt with. I NEVER write reviews but this company doesn't deserve to be in business. The owner of DOMINION CARPET CLEANING quoted me a price and I asked him to come to the home to give a proper estimate because I know people change their mind when they see a house and I don't like surprises in changing prices on the day of the work. He said no, I rather just see pictures so I sent him the pictures and he gave me a quote (and I have all the texts, and emails proving this, and I even made sure he gave me an email quote so I have it).
we had a day booked, and two days prior the owner said he needs to reschedule, I said no problem because stuff happens (AND I HAVE THE TEXTS SHOWING THIS--but yet i'm the one thats rude).
So come day of the work, a grumpy man showed up and said that he will not clean the carpets for that price, and gave a new price that was $400 more than the original quotes by the owner STEVE. The technician then said he will go outside to call his boss and left!!!!!!! without saying anything to anyone. I called the owner Steve, and some lady answered (so rude). She was so unprofessional and just had no idea on what was going on, and wouldn't do anything because Steve was ON VACATION!!!!. There was no solution, we were left with a house all cleared up and no one doing the work. I was so shocked at this point so I sent Steve an email (its attached here).
So today, I called Steve in the hopes he would make it right because he is the one who coordinated this. He said he spoke to his employees and heard the recorded call with the receptionist and that he chooses not to work with me due to how I spoke, and the email I sent him (which is attached). First off, there was no mention that my call was recorded with her, which is against the law (seeking counsel on that). I actually want him to release that call and tell me if thats how a "reputable" company should be handling business with customers "wait till my boss comes back". Yeah because until your boss if back from vacation I'll sit on the floor because I moved everything in my house out....inconsiderate people.
All in all, please don't give people business that have no value for customers, and don't know how to keep their word. Im just so happy that we didn't give them any advance or anything. Read other reviews this is a trend for them.
***UPDATE: in his response below he said that I was rude to the tech when he came to my house... I WASN'T EVEN THERE LOL it was my mother and she is the least rude person and never raises her voice!!, also take a vacation, but you taking vacation doesn't mean customer service is on vacation too :) post the call Steve, show how "rude" I was, do it. Also you'll hear from lawyers about recording calls without permission*****

Excellent service provided by the technician. For an older couple it was great to see they moved all the furniture requested and replaced it.

On May 25th , Steve cleaned our carpets for $214.70. This is when my credit card was charged . Then there was another charge on May 30th. When I called him he said “oh I am so sorry no worries I will refund you “. I had gone on a trip for a week and checked my card to find out there was no refund . I called him back and same story ... “oh I am so sorry no worries I will do it as soon as I get to the office “ and of course few days pass by I call him again and he said “poor reception so I could not refund your card”... I call again and he texted saying “send me your address and I will bring the money in cash” ... of course I still have not gotten paid and I had sent him 4 text messages (expecting him to be reasonable) and he never replied to either one of them. When I call him (last time I tried is this morning ) he picks up the phone and hangs up right away... long story short we are July 12 and he owes us money since May 30th!
I might not get my money back but I do believe in Karma and I will tell the whole world to be aware of this guy. Dominion carpet is a scam !
