Christy Kellams, MD

This is my first time working with any orthopedic. Dr. Kellams is knowledgeable and very caring as called for the profession. She was very honest with her recommendation but at the same time worked with me so I am comfortable and happy on the decision of needed surgery. Just got cubital/carpel tunnel surgeries with her and hoping all will turn out well. Excellent staff members from start to the end. Each and every communication with any as staff member was professional and detailed. No complains only positive things to say!!

After being at the E.R. for a slip and fall my daughter (teenager) was discharged and told to go see Dr. Kellams. I made the appoint literally the next day. The whole thing was a joke. We were in and out in 15 minutes or less. That is with and x-ray and being diagnosed, that she was bruised. Sent us across the hall to P.T. Her arm was so swollen you could not even tell she had a an elbow. I called her pedi and was sent some where else. So glad I went to Dr. Bellflower. My daughter had a fractured radius, bone bruised to the center, tears in both ligaments and tendons plus soft tissue bruising and swelling. She is on her way to healing only thanks to Dr. Bellflower.

I’ve been to Dr. Kellams for two orthopedic incidents. Shoulder surgery April 2019 and most recently a right radius break. When I fell two weeks ago, I immediately called Dr. Kellams for my care. I would drive “almost any distance” for her medical care or advice.

This doctor is a joke, and nothing but. I managed to get carpal tunnel at the age of 21, due to running my body into the ground trying to make a decent living. She did my release in my right wrist, she had me in and out as fast as possible, didn't take the proper time and care with me that I needed, didn't answer any questions and just had an overall of rudeness. Her Nurse, Nurse Kyla? She's a joke as well. After my surgery I was only given a 4 day supply of pain medicine and after those 4 days were up, I obviously needed more for the pain. They refused me, told me that I was obviously going to be in pain, and how dare I have the audacity to ask for anything more. I wasnt given anything for aftercare, no physical therapy, no nothing. I wasn't allowed to talk to Dr.Kellams after the surgery, I was nothing but a nuisance once they'd already operated on me. I had my surgery around April 14th, and I now feel as if I had never had a surgery to begin with, and I have a feeling it is due to their gross negligence. I have a feeling I will be needing more surgeries on my right hand, and I feel nothing but disgust for this "doctor" and all of her evil little monkeys she calls Nurses. It seems apparent that if you're young, she doesn't take you seriously and doesn't care about you at all!

Great Staff, excellent at explaining anything you would like to know about your care and I am half way through 2 Carpal Tunnel surgeries with Dr Kellams.
