Chris did a great job working on my radon system. I was having troubles getting the levels down to a safe number so I called him for a second opinion. He was able to come out the same day, he also came out of the weekends. He knew exactly what to do and was able to get the levels down pretty easily. I would recommend him over another company any day.

My home had a passive system pre-installed. I called Chris for an explanation of what needed to be done to make it active. A simple phone call, a promptly scheduled appointment and he showed up right on time. I called the number because it was an Altoona number and thought it would best to have someone local do the work. When Chris called me back I found out he does work all over the Metro, so that was great news because I also had a home in Waukee besides the one in Altoona to check radon levels. Chris did me a solid by advising me to get the radon levels checked using online purchased kits/mail-In versus his testing service to save a few dollars, which was nice and helped build rapport and trust. Chris arrived promptly to check out the proposed routes at each house, and he and his crew arrived to do the actual installation on time and were out quicker than they thought, even on a finished-space basement. The follow up testing service (included in the installation fee, which was quite reasonable) was conducted in a timely manner and results emailed to me, and Chris further communicated well by text with me. If your home has not been tested for Radon, don’t even think twice about it, and give Chris of Radon Systems of Iowa a call for the peace of mind and safety for you and your family and pets.
